Sailing and Speaking

Hi friends!!

I just wanted to share with you some photos from our first sailing trip as a family with our friends Dan and Krista. We had such a great time and Elijah is a natural-born sailor!

Also, I wanted to share some of Elijah's words with you all. He is beginning to say and mimic more and more words and, while they may not be enunciated properly, he gets his point across. He has also become efficient at signing several different signs to help him in his communication.

Elijah's words include:

"Dada"

"Momma"

"this and this and this and this..."- is that a sentence??

"All done"- complete with the sign, these were his first words besides Momma and Dada!

"Sock"- pronounced "suh, suh"

"Shoe"- pronounced "shuh, shuh"

"Ni-night"- this may also be a name for his lovie- bunny

"WOWWW"

"Ball"

He also does the signs for "milk" and "more"
