8 Months!!

Well, with the Holidays upon us, I'm afraid I have fallen a bit behind in my posting. We have had an eventful past few months... Traveling, shooting Elijah's first commercial, and celebrating the Holidays with our family and friends. We are so blessed!!!

Elijah is beginning to look like a little boy and not just a baby anymore... He is getting so big!! He is about 18lbs and eating almost his weight in food (at least it seems that way!). He still has yet to cut a tooth... Should be any day I think! He started sitting successfully on his own about 3 weeks ago. It's so much fun to see him get stronger and figure out how to maintain his balance and use his core. He has developed his pincer grasp in the past few days and has made use of it by picking up cheerios for the first time and feeding himself... Quite the accomplishment! It is so funny to see the wheels in his little head turn to try to get the message to his fingers! He wants to do so much more than he's capable of quite yet. Like crawling... He has been trying to do that for months now! While he is ever-so-close, he still is unsuccessful and often resorts to rolling to his destination. Hey... Whatever gets the job done! He continues to be the most mellow, easy baby I (or anyone else for that matter) has witnessed. He just goes with the flow and almost never cries. It's pretty incredible!

Dan and I are so looking forward to Christmas this year... What a way to bring so much joy and excitement to the Season! I cannot wait to see Christmas morning through his eyes and know that it will only get better as time goes by.

We cherish you all so much... If you only knew. We hope your Holidays are beautiful and perfect and have the magic of Christmas morning through a child's eyes.

Love,

Dan, Jessica, Elijah, and Moses
