So, hopefully you all know by now- We're havin' a baby, due April 7, 2010!! I wanted to start a blog because there are many of you that we don't get to see as often as we'd like, both near and far. This way, you all can follow our journey as we become parents for the first time, share in our joys, trials, and tribulations. If you'll notice the blue... Kinda hoping for a boy but I finally understand what people mean when they say "As long as it's healhty..." I can't help but wonder what is happening in there- if the baby is developing properly, if everything will be in the right place, etc. So, in that regard "as long as it's healthy" either sex will be fine. I might just need a few months to warm up to the idea of a girl :)
Dan has been so cute about all of this. He is ECSTATIC to become a Daddy and has been going above and beyond to take care of me and our little "Turner Tot." I could get used to this!
Our first prenatal appointment is next Monday, the 17th. We will continue to keep you updated with pictures and info on how we're doing regularly. We love you all and are so excited to to share this next chapter of our lives with you!

Look at you blogging already. Watch out! It gets addicting. I even just got a program to transfer my blog into book. Now, I'm totally hooked because it's a baby book. Can't wait to check back on the status.

it took me a little while to be OK with not having a boy (both times 'round). Once you find out, though, and you come to terms with it's out of your hands and in God's, you quickly fall in love. What a blessing! I hope you continue to feel well!
